A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also worn them enough now that I feel like I have a good grip on their quality, and a bunch of related details about them, which you’ll find explored in this post.

What’s the going rate?
I picked them up for $385.43, though they usually go for around $513.91.
These sneakers typically cost anywhere between $400 to nearly $1,700, depending on how detailed they are.
How does the sizing run?
I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair.
Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.
How comfy are they?
Very comfy, and only took a few hours to break in..
How durable are they?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. No glitter has fallen off, and the shape stayed solid. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose are just on another level. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the glitter on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Are they worth it?
Yes! Just try not to pay full price. They’re expensive, so getting them discounted is a better idea. They’re worth the investment, especially if you find a style that suits you. I went bold with sparkle, but a neutral version would also look great.

Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
